On the Field


Daryl Sattler signed with the San Antonio Scorpions for the 2012 NASL season. Prior to joining the Scorpions, Sattler played for the Tampa Bay Rowdies for two seasons. In 2009 he played with the Wilmington Hammerheads as starting goalkeeper and won the regular season title. He has also been part of the Atlanta Silverbacks, the Memphis Express, and the Nashville Metro where he signed his first professional contract. With the Metros, Sattler was the first choice goalkeeper while garnishing PDL All Conference team and was team captain and team MVP both years.

2000-2003 Played college soccer at Western Kentucky University where he started as goalkeeper all 4 years
2003 Named MVP and made All-Tournament Second Team
2002 Named MVP named to the Missouri Valley Conference MCV All Freshman Team.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Why? I would live in Bora Bora, because everything you see looks like a postcard and it is extremely relaxing..... WHAT A WAY TO LIVE
What kind of music do you listen to? Any favorite bands/artists? Most of my favorite musicians are dead......I am a big fan of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley...... guess I am old.
What would you do if you didn’t play soccer? I would run a Personal Training Business, Speed & Agility Clinics, Sports Specific Conditioning, and of course my favorite.....MY GOALKEEPER ACADEMY
