“We are doing well,” says Hans Denissen, Forward for the Scorpions, “Getting to know each other every day a bit more.”
In preparation for their upcoming match against the U.S. Under-23 Men’s National Team the Scorpions have been working hard to build cohesion.
“We’ve been running through many drills in practice,” Says Pablo Campos, also a Scorpions forward, “We’ve been doing touch and go work… [as well as] playing a lot of 11 vs 11.”
The Scorpions will play their first preseason match on Friday, February 24, 2012 in Frisco, Texas at the FC Dallas Stadium Complex at 7:30 pm against the U.S. Under-23 Men’s National Team after only having practiced a week.

“[It’s] too early to think about a game,” says Campos, “We just got back from vacation, [but] I am excited and flattered. I expect [us] to do well; it’s a great opportunity to play against a National team.”
Hans Denissen agrees.
“It’s a very good game [coming up]…against the USA,” says Denissen, “For us, every game with that intensity is better than the amateur league, so that’s good stuff they did [setting the game up.]”
