On the Field

Nunes was on the USL Championship team two consecutive years, for the Charlotte Eagles and the Charleston Battery. Then he signed a short-term contract with German Regionalliga Sud team Hessen Kassel. In December 2010 he signed with Churchill Brothers from the I-League in India. In July 2011 he signed for Citizen A.A. to play in the 2011-2012 Hong-Kong First Division League. In 2012 he signed with the San Antonio Scorpions.

Nunes played college soccer first at Oklahoma Baptist University for one year and then at Fresno Pacific University, where he was selected as NAIA All-American Team and his senior year he was named 1st team NAIA All-American. He also played for Fresno Fuego in the USL Premier Development League for four years while in college. He played professionally for two years in Brazil. In 2009 he signed with the Charlotte Eagles for the USL Second Division, where he was named USL All-League team. He also played for the Rochester Rhinos, and in 2010 signed with the Charleston Battery.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Why? Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Because of the weather, the beaches, the people, etc..

What kind of music do you listen to? Any favorite bands/artists? A bit of everything Hip Hop, Rock, Pop, but especially "Funk Carioca" Mc Marcinho.

What would you do if you didn’t play soccer? Be a business man!!!
